Welcome to Mexpat.com, the official site of the MEXPAT, a series of regularly scheduled events for expats throughout Mexico and their local friends.
The MEXPAT is a term coined to describe a foreigner living in Mexico, or for that matter a Mexican living abroad. The first MEXPAT took place in Mexico City In 2002. Since then we've moved around and had events in Monterrey, Veracruz and Guadalajara as well. Toronto, Canada was added to the mix last year and is a meeting point for Mexican expats in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Our regularly scheduled events are always held the same nights every month and every year-end we throw a big Christmas party.
The aim of this site is primarily to inform you of the dates and places of our events, but if you look around you may find some other useful information as well. Our Blog section is worth reading, and recently has featured transplanted New Yorker, Alisa Cooper.
The MEXPAT team is made up of folks with day jobs and who dedicate free time to organize the events, so if it takes us some time to get back to you please don't judge us too severely. But, do please give us your feedback on what you do or don't like.
Come on... join the Mexpat near to you!
